This Month's Highlights:
* Lots of talking and sticking your tongue out ("ba ba ba," "ma ma," "da da")
* Tried (and enjoyed!) butternut squash, squash, bananas, puffs (so fun!), and broccoli (yuck!)
* Your first tooth popped through! (bottom right) (12/28)
* Rode in the grocery cart like a big girl (1/3)
* Starting to learn how to hold a spoon (1/6)
* Discovered you can suck on your own toes (1/6)
* Had lunch dates with your boyfriends at school (Ivan)

* Had another small case of bronchitis so Mommy stayed home with you (1/21 & 1/22)

* Was babysat by Grammy & Pops while Mommy & Daddy went to church (1/25)

Mommy's Favorite Moments:
* Watching you stretch every morning (such a big little person!)
* You talking to me in the mornings as I get you ready and on the way to school
* Picking you up from school and getting big hugs and kisses
* Feeding you baby food (unless you decide to spit it out!) and puffs (always entertaining)
* Your smile that seems to get bigger every day (such a happy baby - everyone says so!)
* Watching you play and fly with Daddy (you sure do love him!)
* Seeing you smile when I come to get you out of your crib
* Watching you entertain yourself in your crib/on your mat just talking up a storm and trying to eat your paci
* Rocking you; you seem to be getting better at falling asleep on your own, so I especially cherish our rocking moments

* Eating: 5-6 oz. every 4 hours (even at night)

* Favorites: being carried, practicing standing, bouncing/dancing, sleeping on your side, Rufus the dog on your car seat, getting kisses on your neck or belly, your teachers at school, making new noises (you're so proud of yourself), sticking out your tongue, blowing bubbles, eating your paci like a lollipop, splashing in the bathtub, giggling at Mommy & Daddy's funny faces, pat-a-cake and watching Mommy clap in general; eating the tags on ANYTHING, playing peekaboo, eating puffs
* Least favorites: teething, pedicures (it tickles!), manicures (too busy to sit still), waking up cold/hot, being gasy
* Skills: sitting up by yourself, putting your paci in your mouth, mimicking sounds, knocking over blocks, blowing bubbles, sticking your tongue out, standing and leaning on something, propping up on all fours
